Application

Your website and your application must match, meaning that the scope of work that is listed on your application must match what is displayed on your website. Seems really simple, until someone say’s “I don’t do concrete.” Yet, somehow….just somehow, concrete construction is alive and well living on their company website. Not disclosing that you have a concrete exposure on your application could generate a problem.

What we cannot tell you is what happens next. I do want to say that in most every case that something is going to take place when an underwriter sees this oversight. Personally I think that the worst scenario is this: you have a concrete construction claim and your claim is denied because this exposure was not disclosed on your application. Be honest on your application
