Why people come here

Dallas Contractors Insurance: Hello it’s Thursday March 19th 2015, and here we go today: Understanding, that the reason that most people come our corner of the internet generally falls into about three parts. Number one if you are new into the “hanging your own shingle” – and you’re looking for pricing and you haven’t quite got your feet on the ground with your bidding because you don’t know the cost of insurance is one of the reasons for sure. Stereo typically speaking reason number two is going to be $$ Money: good old-fashioned – how much does that cost? – And that’s a good question because that is how we base a lot of our profits on the cost of doing business. So let’s get started on our Dallas contractors general liability insurance.

Pricing

How Much? Now, we certainly can’t answer that question without knowing your COI – certificate of insurance requirements is going to make a huge difference in pricing because of the company that you will need to be placed. There are going to be difference in the ability to place “endorsements” and some companies are going to require that the insurance carrier, the paper that your company is on (think Hartford) is going to make a difference in premium and it’s going to make a huge difference in the types of certificates of insurance that “they” insurance carrier allows integrated into their policy language. The simple way to say this is the company you are working for (think general contractor) – may not allowed you to have some of the companies that cost less. It’s a Honda versus Lexis scenario, one cost more and supposedly is better – I’ll leave that debate you now let’s keep on going would Dallas contractors insurance.

Speed

Your Dallas contractors general liability insurance can be done really fast in some cases, as an example let’s say that you do drywall and painting and that you have a payroll/labor cost of $25,000 and you the owner do everything under the sun for your company and you also do labor. We will have you a generic quote ready to go in your inbox within 15 minutes. If you want the quote verbally over the phone will have it in around five minutes and then email it to you. Getting in A+ plus carrier if you qualify for their programs takes about 10 minutes.

Then Came Underwriting

Then, we will need to apply the brakes – having a quote is one thing the process is going to take longer because there is going to be underwriting questions. Please understand this is not like buying auto insurance, we are talking about $1 million here in most every case and sometimes there’s another million in reserves so the company before they put the reputation on the line they would kind of like to know who you are. Although the underwriting process is not arduous it does take another 10 or 15 minutes – this is the part that no one ever tells you about.
