Dallas contractors insurance, Dallas general liability – Dallas it is Tuesday, 972-217-8907 July 21, 2015 and yesterday somebody said hello and said hello with a little bit of fury. Yes, we are referring to the temperatures in triple digits so, I want to say that our prayer here is for all of you to be safe, because it is just old-fashioned hot out here in Dallas County. We want to use start where we left off yesterday, talking about subcontractors and coverage’s and codes. Today we will start talking about codes and work our way throughout the week on the coverage’s that are tethered to the codes. Dallas contractors insurance, Dallas general liability let’s get started here on Tuesday morning.

We are answering the phones NOW.

Now, when you need a question answered you may want to go and talk to a licensed agent here in the state of Texas that works with general liability. It could be prudent and possibly in your best interest to talk to an agent in person and get your questions answered. The following statement is an opinion yet in my opinion this makes some kind of logic. Talk to a person – it does not have to be us – where you can get your questions answered specifically geared to your particular question in general. So, we will start with the part of what may be or may not be covered on your policy and the relationship to coverage/exclusions and codes. In other words you might think that it is possible that the following would not be on your general liability coverage:

  • Building a skyscraper
  • Flying an airplane
  • Producing a cooking show
  • Driving for NASCAR
  • Rock climbing

  • Now, you may even be rolling your eyes and saying how ridiculous, yet this may be the very best way to show an example of what may be “excluded” – on your coverage. Now, you may have coverage for roofing on your general liability yet, this may be a real good question to ask the agent that sold you your policy. This also may be true of plumbing and again a real good question to ask your agent. Plumbing may also be broken into two different parts as in commercial and residential, the same with roofing. Again these are going to be different – codes – that may or may not be on your policy for your Dallas contractors insurance, Dallas general liability.

    A subcontractor

Now, the following statement is probably on this website somewhere around 100 times. We, hopefully are not naïve and believe that people go in from the public and just start reading our blogs. So, every week we repeat this at least once – ask yourself a question. What would happen if a claim was made by a subcontractor do you think that the company (think insurance company) that paid the claim is just going to go away? Or do you possibly think that “they” – may want to talk to you about reimbursement?
