Hello North Texas and Dallas Fort Worth

Dallas Contractors Insurance: Hey, it’s payday. Kinda- well it depends really and if you are pulling a check every Friday it’s probably not likely that “that person” is here anyway. The person that comes here is looking to become an independent contractor or is looking to may be save some money or get comparisons on their coverage. Hello it’s Friday and we are glad to be here and glad that you drop by and want to go over a few quick things and please remember we are generically speaking here because we have never read your policy. I was licensed in 2004, and I read quite a bit on the web about general liability and the different things that are said about said coverage: Dallas contractors insurance, let’s have a little talk.

Well the web said

Something that you already know yet it is worth mentioning again. Regardless of what any website says on the www.– world wide web, this will not change “your” – (place the name of your company here) policies language. Although when reading something you may call your licensed agent by the state of Texas and go over this to be sure that the statement that you read on the web this correct. Now just to be sure even though I am licensed I have never read your policy nor do I probably understand the policy language inside of your current Dallas contractors insurance.

Coverage

Now, general liability the first time I went over it with one guy that I actually still work with 11 years later said the following statement: general liability is third-party liability. Okay, when I heard that I wasn’t anymore informed you did not have a better education whatsoever. So were not going to be able to break it down all in one post however we can give some generalizations. Do remember, however that these are generalizations because policy changes can be made from a company that you bought a policy from and “we” – would never know anything about it. So the following is a generalization check with your agent for your particular coverage: Dallas Contractors What is not covered:

  • Work maybe not
  • Tools
  • BI to employee/Sub
  • Auto
  • Your home (maybe)

Okay, the above is not meant to be an innocuous list but there just isn’t enough room to list everything, stereo typically speaking your quality of work or craftsmanship is not covered – however recently I was told that one policy was carrying $15,000 of coverage on that very same area. Although I would have to put it in the it may not be common column. Normally speaking your tools are not covered and your auto is covered under your commercial auto and please don’t confuse that with your personal auto. Again there are hybrids out there that I have heard about yet I do not have one of those.

We are here to go over some different things, we will answer your questions to the very best of our ability and we do thank you for dropping by today not trying to be to generic or stale but please understand – I cannot make a statement I just don’t know anything about. Just like you and your homeowners insurance you could have different coverages than the guy that lives next door. If you have different companies the likelihood that being true is pretty significant.
