Dallas Contractors Insurance, Dallas General Contractors Builders General Liability.

Dallas contractors Insurance general Liability, Have a blessed holiday. We will be at our offices on Tuesday from 8AM til 6PM and every week day. Working with small contractors since 2004  and I feel as though we are just getting started. Now, today I want to talk about you the contractors that built this country. It’s the weekend so, I will be speaking (typing) in general terms. Yes, that means I don’t think anyone is going to stop by today, yet I enjoy blogging to you guys about Dallas contractors general liability. We hope we can help.

One size does not fit all

We are here for the small contractor, that translates the company that has a gross run of one and a half million ( $ 1,500,000) in total sales. Also for the General contractor we may be a nice fit for your subcontractors. Contractors, meaning that we don’t cover industries such as….

  • Hair Dressers
  • Bar’s/Restaurants
  • Car Lots
  • Events
  • Car Repair

Now, what we are trying to say there is that we for the most part we cover contractors only today, I am not saying that we will never help other exposures, yet our concentration is contractors and subcontractors that work for general contractors.

There are other coverage’s for the contractor, meaning that a contracting company may  have other exposures that fall outside of the protection area such as workers compensation’. If you have a employee that is hurt on the job you may  be covered by workers compensation’ your Dallas contractors insurance general liability may not cover a hurt employee, this is something that you want to go over with your agent to address your exposures.

Codes

In most cases you have a coded that demonstrates what you are performing on a day to day bases in your area of work i.e. a painter will have Dallas Contractors Insurance General Liability-0134a code and there is a different code for say a exterior painter. Here is the rub, if you have over spray on an outside job and your only have a code for a interior paint, can there be a problem? That is just one example of what could go wrong if you are performing work that was not added as an exposure on your policy.

Questions

Well, it seems like every day we have the same question and that is: Are subcontractors that are uninsured covered on my policy? Well the short answer is I have not read your policy meaning you really need to address this with your current agent that is more familiar with your policy and the insurance company that you are with. Here is a better question: what happens if you have a problem and your don’t have the code and the subcontractor that had the problem has no coverage? A question for your
current agent as well.
